All set for “Jay Day” next Saturday
The better weather brought 19 golfers out for a stroke/medal round on Wednesday, 7 October. The grouall stableford, which should be a lot of fun. Be at the clubhouse early, as departure time is 7.45 am. There will be a prize of the day and special prizes.... more

Merton wins cricket opening round
Merton won its first round one-day match, against St Joseph's on Saturday at the Merton Cricket Grogan had the visitors all out for 107, a 58-run victory to the home team. Merton plays Euroa at the M.C.G next Saturday in a one-day match starting at 1pm.... more

Presentation Night
Last Friday night nearly 200 players and supporters of the Violet Town Football Netball Club gathereion of awards. Once again the club had a successful year on the field and socially. Plans are already under way for next season which comes around quickly.... more
