After a very successful Show ‘N’ Shine and with October rapidly diminishing the Euroa Wool Week Spring Festival is now rapidly approaching.
The Wool week spring festival is supported by the Euroa community as a whole with most service groups and sporting clubs participating in some small way. The first week end of wool week spring festival will commences with a concert from the Euroa third age club on Thursday, and well known musician John Bumford will be holding a concert on the Friday evening prior to the Euroa show. The Euroa show is on Saturday and horse events again on Sunday with the Euroa miniature railway in full swing as well.
The Euroa primary school will be holding their usual high standard production during the midweek of the festival. The second weekend commence with the Police band Code 1 performing at St Johns school oval on Friday evening this is then followed by a big weekend of activities in Binney Street on Saturday morning, this year we will be conducting a “Fleece the Euroa trader” session, during the morning. (More details in the Wool Week Oncely) Children’s week activities at the miniature railway track Saturday afternoon, and Saturday evening we having on the offering either a bank at the Euroa Hotel, or the screening of the movies.
Sunday in the Park is becoming a leisure day with the bush market, and many static display of the many leisure activates that we have on offer for people to enjoy. Monday evening cup eve, will see another big evening at Balmattum, this is followed on with the Golf club Cup day luncheon and the Wool week spring festival will finish on Thursday Oaks day with the Guides trivia evening, this being moved to so as not to detract from the police band Code 1 on the previous Friday evening.
