After a busy weekend with the Euroa Show ’n’ Shine, schoolchildren from around the district were treated to a more meditative performance from “Glow” last Tuesday.

“Glow” is a high-energy group of young people who present positive messages of hope through song, dance and drama. All are members of Careforce Church (of Christ) at Mt Evelyn, and their visit to Euroa was made possible by generous donations from the churches of Violet Town and Euroa.

Children from the two Peranbin campuses of Violet Town and Strathbogie, St John’s Primary School in Euroa and Euroa Primary School gathered in the Mercy Centre to watch the show. Judging by the attention and applause the young performers received, their efforts were appreciated by everyone present. Hopefully the values of resilience, self-worth and perseverence that featured in “The Jungle Treasure” had the desired effect of teaching their audience that “the greatest treasures of all are not always what they seem”.
