Weather:

Mostly fine and sunny days, at times clouding over but no rain resulting. Cooler nights with a light frost.

The countryside needs rain for the growth of pasture and crop paddocks, or the hay season may come in early. Some areas have the dreaded purple "patto" plants in flower.

Be wary:

I saw a snake on the road on Saturday, so they are coming out of hibernation now. So take care wherever you walk.
