As promised recently (see Gazette, 29 September), a new sign has been erected at the saleyards corner in Euroa to point the way to the Industrial Estate.

Concern had been raised during the Euroa BEAR (Business Expansion And Retention) program that the position of and facilities available at the Estate were not generally recognised. It was decided that a prominent sign at the corner of the Euroa-Shepparton and Boundary Roads would be advantageous.

SJ Rural Engineering was given the job of constructing and design of the sign, which lists some of the businesses that can be found within the Estate. It is hoped that this will help to support those businesses already in situ while indicating the variety of business that can be accommodated and encouraging further enquiries to Strathbogie Shire Council about the availability of industrial land in the area.
