The organisers of Euroa Show 'n' Shine 2009 were very pleased with the number of people who came along to this year's event - a quick estimate put the crowd at over 5,000.

Approximately 1200 cars and just over 120 motorbikes turned up. 'Bike numbers were down this year due to the rain down south, which caused concern regarding road conditions on the ride north.

Radio-controlled sailing boats enjoyed calm waters on the Seven Creeks, where about ten enthusiasts showcased their boats. Catering tents and vans were all kept very busy with continuous queues of hungry, thirsty people. Market stall holders were pleased with their day's takings and local residents and businesses appreciated the opportunity to demonstrate to everyone how brightly "Euroa Shines".
