The inaugural "Chuck-a-lap" competition attracted a great range of vehicles on Saturday morning, as a prelude to Sunday's Show 'n' Shine in Euroa.

It was difficult for some voters to make a decision, given the variety and polish of the exhibits, which were headed by the latest gleaming Holden Commodores from Thompson Euroa. While Ford fanciers tried to tip the scales by voting for their own preferences, others went for looks or originality in their vehicles.

In the end it was "COOL50" that won - the blue Ford Mercury pictured on Page 14.
